You all are welcome to my blog for today. Today's blog will be about Steemit Promotion and how I help in recruiting a new members into this great platform as to join the moving train. It was not that easy, but I did all my possible best to see that this new member join this Ecosystem together with us, which I also pray that he shall keep moving forward and Increasing in height/knowledge?
I promoted Steemit Ecosystem today by recruiting in someone @dominiongabriel by name. @domiongabriel is from IMO STATE and about 18 years old. I got to know about him since our childhood days which is also said to be my childhood friend also. We grew up together on the same street and also went to the same school. We also attended the same primary and secondary school, which has really made us more close and friendly.
I got him verified since last week and indeed it was not that easy. I successfully achieved recruiting him into this Ecosystem through pushing him until he joined. Likewise, I joined this Ecosystem as for last year and since then, I have been telling him about my progress in Ste emit Ecosystem but all my efforts were really in vain. Furthermore, I also tried to convince him to join as for last year by showing him all my earnings and how I have benefited from this Ecosystem, but he seems not to join and after all I fought he couldn't join us here as for last year.
And as for this year, I successfully convinced him, and he believed me at last when my good friend @chukwu10 who also helped me convince him the more and after our conversation that day with @chukwu10 he then decided to join us here, It was not that easy, but I tried my best.
After motivating him to join, which he later agreed on, I took the first step, which was creating his account, I followed all the necessary procedures needed and ended creating his account successfully, this really made him more Happy After we were done with creating his account I then move to the second step which was teaching him the necessary things he should know about this great Ecosystem and how to access it perfectly, I taught him about 2 hours and I believe that as times goes on he will be more perfect. Things we looked at include the following below!
- What are markdowns and how to use it
- Meaning of tags and how to apply them
- How to make a quality post
- Obeying the rules by staying away from plagiarism
- How to add photo and also add the source of any downloaded picture
- How to participate in contest
- And how to power up Steem and many others?
These are important areas we looked into, and I believe that as time goes on he will be more perfect and gain better knowledge on how to assess this platform freely on his own. After teaching him the necessary things he should know concerning this great Ecosystem, , he also asked me a few questions about where he was finding it more difficult, which I also answered him in a many ways he could understand it better. So, I then proceeded in help him write his achievement 1 Post. I gave him some Guidelines to follow and after some Minutes he was done writing it, I went through it made some certain corrections, Edited something's and added the necessary markdowns then showed him how to type to avoid typo errors, I also helped him type it and added the necessary things before posting it, It was not that easy, it was really stressful and hard, but I had to sacrifice my time for it as to promote this platform the more. After we were done with writing the post, I taught him many other things then after some Minutes we played some games, and then he went back home to get ready for the next day's lesson.
