LETS TAKE A LOOK AT HOW I MADE GARRI FROM [ 😲 CASSAVA TO GARRI 😲] including a Video πŸ“· tutorial [TRUST THE PROCESS]

Indeed Am Still in my maternal Village with my grandma, And also Enjoying It's Sweetness. This week me and my grandmother decided to produce GARRI 😲, So I then decided to share with my Steemit Friends which are you all here with me in this great Platform on How we successfully processed and produced a delicious πŸ˜‹ GARRI, Which is converting RAW CASSAVA INTO GARRI.

[STEP ONE]. Going to the Farm To Get As Much As Many Cassava We Needed

This was the First Step We Considered, Getting The Raw Cassava Was Really the First thing Everyone Should do because one can't make GARRI without the Raw Cassava from the market or directly from your farm land. So We decided to Get some cassava from my Grandma's Farm land and she also went with us on that faithful day. As we got to the farm she dig out the Cassava from directly from the ground while I and my siblings and cousins were busy pilling out the back side of the Cassava.

My grandma was in charge of digging out the Cassava directly from the ground while we were busy pilling out the back side, It Really took us about 4 hours of getting as much as we want until we were actually satisfied, After all the digging and pilling, We then poured it inside out bags, depending on the quantity each and everyone would be able to carry back home.

[STEP TWO]. Washing up the Cassava and taking them to the engine for it to be blended/grinded

As we Took them back Home, Me and my siblings quickly Started washing the up and also putting the back inside that same bags, but before we did that we washed up the bags because it was already very dirty. Well it took us about Extra one hour to finish washing all the Cassava We brought back Home and immediately we were done washing them up we then took them to the engine grinder for it to be blended/ grinded.

This Step is also more important because, Without one washing up the Cassava and also grinding them, I don't think πŸ€” that GARRI would definitely be produced. Immediately we brought the to the engine grinder, those incharge of this particular work, took over and started grinding them, Some was adding them into the engine and also making sure it was properly grinded while some were bringing them out and putting them inside the pan.

[STEP THREE]. Dehydrating Removing they water from cassava making it dry, After grinding it and also SIEVING Which means separating of the wet cassava mash into grits using our sieve

1000054832.jpg

After it was successfully grinded I and my grandmother then poured them inside the bags and at that moment it was actually a bit watery and needed to the pressed deeply for it to dry fully. As we were done pouring them inside the bags we then took them into another section which was were they normally dry the watery cassava making all the water to dissolve and making them totally dry.

1000054836.jpg1000054831.jpg

It stayed there for about two Days before we went back and took it back home, and it that moment it wasn't that watery again it was a bit dry and normal. As we took it back home we brought out our sieve about three of the because the Garri would actually be in a big quantity, After bringing out our sieve me and my brothers starting sieving it Which means separating of the wet cassava mash into grits using our sieve until it becomes a bit powdering. Actually we were getting closer to the Final Stage.

[FINAL STAGE]. Frying The GARRI, Heating the grit/dried Cassava into a pan or tray then continually ster until they are dry and crispy .

1000050367.jpg

At this point πŸ‘‰, This is actually the final Stage. We brought a big pan which is mostly used in frying Garri, then brought together huge firewood, Then make the fire on, put on our frying pan, the. Allowed it to hit for about 30 seconds before we finally poured in the grit/or sieve Cassava inside the already heated frying pan and then started frying it.

FRYING PROCESS

Well it is mostly stressful especially when frying with firewood, the heat are mostly painful but you gonna endure it. Also at this point in time one had to keep frying until it becomes dry and crispy then you can then finally bring it down from the fire, at this point it time You GARRI IS NOW READY TO BE SERVED. 😱😱😱.
