TRADITION

Tradition is usually defined as the transfer of beliefs and customs from forefathers to their offsprings. Every patch of land has its own distinct masterpiece of traditions and beliefs that are the unique representatives of that area. They differentiate the cultural heritage, norms and ethics of one generation with that of other generations. I belong to Islamic Republic of Pakistan that was initially the part of subcontinent. Its traditions are the reflection of ancient mughals and the grandeur of other Muslim rulers.

Now I will describe the contest "tradition and values" according to the following quires.

1-What were the established role of men and women in your society before the obvious change.

In earlier era there was a male dominated society but in positive way. It was the utmost duty of male to take care of his family both morally and financially and women being their partners bring their children up and take care of his home. And they both by their beautiful collaboration bring up their children and the circuit of life.This system also had a negative impact on the growth of women as they were bound only to their home and they were totally dependent upon male and their social circle was very less.They couldn't do anything according to their own desire . In addition their was also the chance of haphazardness among the members of the family because to stick on one point despite having different; mind set was very difficult.

2-Have the change in roles and values resulted in something positive or negative? Please explain.

As I already potrate the ups and downs of modernism . In this modern era in order to gain popularity in this fast and furious world ever member has to play its role in the development or customs and traditions though have to be followed in order to keep our folk traditions lively but as the time passes we have to change our conventional ways to the modern ones to move in this world .

3-How has the change in roles and values effected the family structure and the upbringing of children.

The breakdown of the conventional system has created a positive impact on the children because they can easily put their desire and wishes that was not possible initially. Every member of the family now earns money and is independent .Now not only women have the duty to bring up the children but also male have equally time to the young ones at the same time women do their jobs and are active socially.

4-What will you say to advocates of Patriarchy who believes that it fills the woman's need to have someone with more power and experience to take care of her.

I am not an ardent supporter of Patriarchy system as according to me a wealth of heritage should be equally distributed and it creates an atmosphere of independence but we cannot deny its importance because in this male dominated society it is very difficult for abalone women especially in the underdeveloped countries the bloody rascals don't lead them to service happily . Thus a male can better take care of a family then a women because he has much more courage.

5-What role has technology and the economy played in the change in roles and values?

"Technology" has changed the whole prospective of life it has reduce the burden of work now its very easy to do the lengthy and time consuming task very less time this has reduce the restriction of women just to bound to their houses. They along with taking care of their home also participate in many practical activities and do much better then male and the bulky manual task are don very consize time with help of artificial intelligence.

Now "economy" has much more improved as compared to their past because it's very difficult for even a single person in the house to remain idle thus this has eradicated poverty and brought about new revolution killing the the conventional tradition I think this much better then the previous one.
