The poverty paradox
If I am poor, it's only because I was predestined to be poor... No, you are poor because you did not work hard enough.

Greetings to you all and welcome to my post. In this post, I will be analysing the paradox of poverty.
Is poverty and not having money the same thing? Explain
Poverty and not having money are two different things. Being broke is the example of not having money; it is a temporary situation when a person doesn't have money to handle a present situation. Maybe the money is trapped in a business or will come but is not available at the moment. Not having money has hope.
Poverty is deeper; a person in poverty has no hope of money coming. No money at home and abroad. Poverty is a hopeless, chronic lack of money or skill that could be exchanged for money.
Do you think poverty is Man-made or situations in life make it happen? Mention 2 main causes of poverty in your country.
Anybody who believes God's time is the best and who fails to invest or do productive work while waiting for God's time will be a man-made poor person, caused by belief in predestination.
Situations when a person is willing and ready to work but is unemployed and can not access funding to start a business or his crops has all been damaged by pest becomes poor by circumstances.
People are poor in my community because of not having any financial literacy.
Some people are poor because they believe that they will be rich when it is God's time without working.

Give a life experience to justify that poverty is either man-made or situations in life cause it.
Etim, age 20, was the firstborn male in the family. He did not want to go to school or learn a trade because he believed he will inherit his father's house. When his father got sick, half of the property was sold to care for health; his mother died, and his father died 2 months later.
His relatives sold the property to make a befitting burial. Etim was left without education or skill.
Etim will be poor because of his choices and external factors.
Someone refuses to scam people to make a fortune and elevate himself from poverty. Will you say the person is the reason he's still poor or will you say he's being content with the poverty? Justify your answer
A person way have poor mindset will still be poor even if he do the 419 and blow with 50 million Naira.
Like Etim in this case, he did not go to school and has no skill.
He will only spend the money till it is finished.
Give 5 million to every Nigerian today, and in 2 years to come, you will still have poor Nigerians because the money will group in some places.
I will say he has avoided adding a bad reputation to his poor CV. He should start by working on the poor man's mindset.
Thank you for giving me the chance to say this thing that has been in my head. Financial literacy is the key to our poverty problem.
