My Introduction to Steem4Nigeria
Hello everyone. This is my introduction to the Steem4Nigeria community. I am Ubong Francis, while on Steemit, I go by the User Name @rubee2as1. I am not a completely new user, I joined Steemit 4 years ago. I am from a small farming community called Iton-odoro in Ikono local government area of Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria.
Iton-odoro is a community comprised mostly of homogeneous farmers who depend on various products from palm trees.
Currently, I live in Uyo but my love for farming is still strong. Though I grew up to become a professional teacher trained in Chemistry/Physics and the art of teaching at the College of Education, Afaha-Nsit, Akwa Ibom. And I later studied Physics at the University of Uyo, Nigeria.
I have an Engineering Diploma in computer repairs and maintenance from IBML Uyo.
At present, I work as a school teacher and cultivate the school farm, growing cassava and melon as the main crops.
I believe in hard work, perseverance and sincerity that is why I never relent in my effort in whatever I lay my hands to do. I know it will pay and yield rich rewards at the tail end if I do not give up.
Moreso, I understand that when a man works hard, he needs to supply smartness to his hard work: thus my present in this community of smart people so as to learn and tap from their experiences.
I use the available opportunities I have to travel and see new places. I hope I can explore beyond the borders of Nigeria and travel by sea to distant places.
I would love to create some positive impact in the Steem4Nigeria community, interact with fellow community members and contribute valuable content.
I promise to be a good citizen of the Steem4Nigeria community and conform to the ethics or rules binding both the community and Steemit as a whole.
