This is an amazing contest that I really love that's why am here..

Do you always find it hard to say NO to people's request?

Oh yes I was one person that find it hard to say no to people's requests. I don't know why, may I always feel sympathy or emotional when people finish telling me sad stories and I can't help them.

But the story changed recently when something happened to me, I decided that never again will I always say yes. Now I know that there is nothing wrong with saying no.

Infact someone once told me that when people come to you for money or help, he said don't always give them what they want. Give them advice. I leant that and I began to practice it.

Saying no doesn't mean you are a bad person. Most times the people you always give in to don't even care about you. The very day you say no, they start seeing you as wicked and evil.

Mention reasons why people find it difficult to say NO?

Some people find it difficult to say no because they lack the boldness sometimes. They don't feel that they are worthy.

Some can't say no because they feel indebted to the person asking them for the things. I think I have been in this position before where I feel I can't say no to the person who has helped me so much. But I realized that life doesn't work that way always.

Others can't say no because they are afraid of what the outcome will be after saying no. They have not leant how to build their confidence. They lack self esteem.

What was that experience that taught you to say NO?

There are several experiences I have had in the past that made me decide that I will no longer say yes all the time. I must learn to do it.

Well, recently I had an experience with a person I thought was a friend. I remember displeasing my self and sacrificing to make such person alright. Every request made by this person was always a yes because I felt we were in the same page.

Only to find out one day that this person has been a back stabber, a snitch and a liar. There were several other things I discovered that were done behind my back by this so called friend so I decided that saying yes always is not worth it.

What is your advice for those who still struggles to give NO as an answer

My advice is simple,don't be afraid. If you can afford to say yes and not regret it then go ahead.

If you say yes and struggle to do that request the n it's not what it. You can always live to satisfy others when you are not satisfied.

Summon courage, build self esteem and face your fears. There is no wrong in saying no.

Face your fears. Do what makes you happy.
