Introduction

Good day all, am glad to be given the opportunity to participate in this wonderful contest, honestly is really a huge challenge to write at least more than 400 words in this particular contest. Today am writing a story that talks about temporary technology damage, am sure you all are going to love it.

Temporary technological worldwide damage

Once upon a time there a very big city full of technological assets and gadgets, it was full with qualities of the modern world and wasn't filled with anything that has to do with the previous stone world. Televisions were in so many places even in the homes of people, almost everyone has a cell phone that is use for passing information easily, it aids communication. The world was very full of technology.

One day something unfortunate happened, something very shocking and mysterious 😯. Joseph and his friends were playing video games in his house when the TV set switched off all of a sudden. Joseph and his tried to put it on but it wasn't responding and they were surprised because there was still power supply in the house.

All of a sudden Joseph's elder sister Kim entered the sitting room and asked him if his phone is still working. Joseph was surprised why his sister was asking him a strange question and he quickly replied her saying "Yes" without checking his phone. Kim didn't believe him and urged him to check his phone. Joseph reluctantly dipped his right hand inside his pocket and brought out his cell phone.

Shockingly, Joseph's cellphone refused to turn on, he tried to turn it on several times but it didn't work and he asked his sister what was wrong. Kim said she doesn't know, she also said her cellphone stopped working few minutes ago. Joseph told Kim how him and his friends have been trying to turn on TV after it switched off mysteriously.

Few minutes later Joseph and the others were hearing a loud noise outside, they all rushed to peep through the window. They saw alot of confused people outside, asking each other questions they can't even answer. The matter of this story is that the internet and televisions all over the world stopped functioning mysteriously.

People were worried and sad, some were crying, saying there various internet business has gotten destroyed. People's cellphones were now useless, televisions were all switched off almost forever. There was no way to pass information, even the presidents of various countries find it difficult to talk to their citizens, assuring them everything will be restored, because the televisions were no longer functioning so they will not be able to see and listen to their President's speech on the TV.

Everybody engaged in various outdoor activities in other to forget there sorrows, but they were still unhappy, so they had to manage the current situation and move on. People stated playing football on daily basis, some went to the basketball court to play basketball. Children were playing together, as well as Joseph his sister and their friends, who got themselves involved in so many sporting activities.

Although other non - internet business was still going on, businesses like selling of foodstuffs, toys, books and so many others. Services like barbing of hair, repairing of cars and many others were still on going, but most people became very poor as they depended on the internet to make money before. Teaching was going on and hospitals and Banks were still functioning.

Fem weeks later Joseph's phone started ringing and he was so excited that his phone was now working, he quickly rushed to inform his parents and elder sister, their phones was also working now and Joseph's dad asked him to check if the TV was also working now. To their outmost surprise, the TV was now functioning.

This happened all over the world, the internet and televisions were now restored. Everyone became happy again and thanked God for answering their prayers. News of the recent information was all over the internet and TV channels. The presidents of various countries finally had the opportunity to address there people and they added that they really missed there people.

Conclusion

Up till now nobody knew what happened that month all over the world, it was something mysterious, scientists were still contemplating on the cause of the outbreak. Joseph told his children the story of what happened, when he grew older. I hope you all love the story? Bye for now.
