Hi steemian I'm so happy to share my first dairy post with you all, I'm glad you will like to know how i spent my day and learn something from my experience.

My dairy

The experience I had going by road was terrible added to the fact that we were packed like sardines inside the vehicle and the rude behavior of the conductor who was soaked in alcohol and almost beat up the oldest man in the vehicle even when everyone asked him to respect the man. At the road safety check point he was reported by the driver to the official on duty and that made him almost fought with the driver. He drove off leaving him and he joined another vehicle so he went ahead while we stopped for some people to highlight. We thought that was all only to get to an army checkpoint and saw him pointing towards our driver, finally we were stopped and our driver asked to come out but when the elderly man went and explained things to the army officials, the conductor got the beating of his life and was reprimanded for harassing a man old enough to father him.
Hmm, that made me add respect to Nigerian army officials.
That experience made me decide to go back by sea because I wasn't in for another round of drama but drama was unfolding in stages.
I woke up feeling so nostalgic, packed up my bags to go home. That's a picture of me and my cousin dressed to leave

but wouldn't just head home without having my favorite local meal of roasted plantain and fish with veggies, we call it bole. Bole is a Nigerian locally made meal, the plantain provides the highest amount of iron needed by the body, the fish gives us the protein nourishment while the palm oil, the pepper, onions, salt and green vegetables adds flavor, taste and more health benefits, you get your blood flowing well after a taste of our Nigerian made bole because it's a whole healthy meal without mincing words. SAY NO to junk and processed or preserved foods and join the bole train. Just grill your salted fish, grill abi roast your plantain (ripe or unripe), cut your pepper, onions and veggies into a plate, pour in palm oil and yeah! Bole is ready.
This is a picture of me enjoying bole.

The highpoint for me was the trip by sea, it's been a while I had such experience. I enjoyed the waves, the cool breeze blowing from the sea, the ride itself was fun-filled.
Here is a picture of me and my cousin full of excitement and boom!

In the middle of the sea, a little close to the naval checkpoint, the engine ceased🙆 and my heart started pounding as if I just ran up Kilimanjaro but that was resolved in a little while but yet as we moved another boat beckoned on us for help, only for us to end up toing another spoilt boat to the shore and a journey of thirty minutes ended in an hour, forty minutes but I enjoyed the experience.

It was a safe trip and I'm ready to resume work tomorrow. This was my diary for today.
