Do You Only Drink Milk??

Everyone is familiar with the creamy and white liquid called milk. If not all, most.
It has been said to be made up of 100 nutrients, with the prominent one being calcium.
With the country of India known for being its large producer, milk is gotten from either female diary livestock or some plants.
Plant sourced milk includes coconut milk, almond milk, soy milk, oat milk, rice milk and so on.
Animal sourced milk includes goat milk, cow milk and sheep milk.

The primary reason why most people get milk nowadays is to drink or add as ingredients to a few dishes. Yes, but there are other ways we can use milk in our daily lifestyles, domestically. Even if it has gone sour or expired, it has its use; so if you have a jar of milk at home, here are few ways to put it to good use.👇

  1. MILK BATH: this historical process of bathing with warm milk is prominent in muscle and mind relaxation. Also it plays a vital role in softening the skin, little wonder it's used in making a few bar soaps! To achieve this, add some milk to warm water plus additives (honey, essential oil or epsom salt). Then have a thorough rinse after soaking for 20 minutes. Note that you have to be cautious if you're allergic to milk or lactose.

  2. MILK FOR COMPOST: this is done when you have expired milk or yogurt at home. The nature of the milk to be used supports the growth of microorganisms; this enriches the manure or soil. It is done by manually mixing the expired milk, vegetable scraps and dried leaves. Apart from balancing the PH of the soil, this is also a means of disposing and reducing wastes from unwanted milk and dry leaves in the compound.

  3. PAPER MACHE: Milk can also take part in creative interior decor. Paper mache is one of the inexpensive creations made with paper to beautify our surroundings; this might not be new to some of us, but the idea of adding milk might be. It is simply the normal process of mixing water, soaked striped papers, and gum together. But this time add milk to the mixture. Apply this mixture around an object (pot, vase) to get the shape. Allow to dry after repeated process. It is child-friendly and eco-friendly.

Enjoy.
