Greetings @steem4nigeria community

How is everyone in Nigeria coping with the current price of petrol? Am sure I hurting everyone of us. We never wanted President Tinubu to be our president but through mischievous means, he managed to be the president and now we are suffering from the price of petrol. So many people has stopped their businesses while some are surviving a bit by increasing the price of everything in their business. I will be talking about few things in my neighborhood but I won't talk about the price of petrol today, that might be next time, I just have you guys an highlight of it.

Rainless neighborhood

Am sure you guys know that we are currently in rainy season and the rain normally falls everyday there by distracting our business or ruining our plans. In other to survive in a period like this when planning, you must have up to plan C incase of necessity. Rain destroys lots of things and people always get happy whenever rain doesn't fall in a whole day.

I want to briefly talk about a day the rain didn't fall, that day was a very wonderful day to lots of people as their businesses were flowing as is supposed to be and they were able to achieve lots of things. That day after school I went to a computer center to photocopy something for my mother and I began to view my neighborhood from the up of the building ad the building is a two storey-building.

I took pictures of the area and one of the things I captured was the road, Keke drivers were all driving on the road, carrying passengers who are unable to trek under the hot sun. I also learnt from my friends who drives Keke that most of them doesn't like driving when his rainy because it opens more room for accident as our road is very small.

There are some who are very good in driving that aren't scared of accidents while driving on the rain so when is falling, they normally drive on the rain, carrying passengers who doesn't want to walk under the rain as well as those one that doesn't have time to wait for the rain to finish falling.

I took pictures of my right hand side, middle and also the left hand side. The middle one is the one I want to talk about now and this aspect has to do with laundry service. Whenever we are in a rainy season like this, people who engage in laundry service normally lose alot as the clothes they will watch will take days to dry because of the daily rain fall. There's a place for laundry downstairs and I took pictures of where clothes were spread outside.

Since it didn't rain that particular day I was talking about, I saw these laundry men smiling heartily, they were excited that most of the clothes have dried while some has almost dried completely. They began to watch so many clothes so that they can spread them on time now the sun is out. Once some set dries completely, they will pack them immediately and spread the other ones. I can testify on their behalf that they really made alot that day.

Wow @tetsu26 is good to know that is not raining in your area. Not in my area that is raining cat and dog.

Hi friend, this is the season for rain especially for us in the tropical areas. It comes down every now and then. We just have to factor in the rains in our plans every day until we enter the dry or harmattan seasons. Goodluck
