"Light at the end of a dark tunnel", just like the phrase "better days ahead" is one of the common quotes I hear a lot and also believe in.
Nothing last forever, no matter how good or bad it may seem. No matter how dark a tunnel may seem, I believe there's always light somewhere at the end of it all.

The statement, "there's light at the end of a dark tunnel" is an expression of hope, hope for joy, happiness, after a long period of suffering or troubles.
This statement also emphasizes the fact that change is constant. However the situation might prove to be, there's bound to be a change and this change is what brings about the light.

One interesting fact about this quote is that the light is not just anywhere but at the end of the tunnel. This entails that to get the light, you need the resilience, perseverance, consistency, and discipline to stay on the journey without losing focus.
All these characters transform and reforms you, giving you the ability to effectively notice and handle the light when you finally see it.

I've seen the statement in question come to fulfillment in the life of a friend back when I was secondary school. He lost his father at a very earlier age and this had a negative impact on his education.

Asides the emotional effect, finance became a problem. He struggled with his mum, selling everything he could so as to get through school. He applied wrote many scholarship exams, hustle through many jobs and finally.....he saw some light.

When he was done with his secondary school education, he got a full scholarship from an oil company to further his education to the university.

The journey and experience he went through which led getting the scholarship is one he would never forget and it has also helped in shaping him into the great man he us today.

Everyone, every individual, has a dark tunnel they are struggling through in their lives. Different aspects, different tunnels.
Presently, there are quite a number of tunnels I'm going through and hoping for light and amongst them all is the financial tunnel. I know there's light somewhere and I intend on going through till I see the light.

Like I said earlier, change is constant. It has been proven in physics, chemistry, biology, philosophy, nature, that change is constant.
With this at the back of my mind, I strongly believe it will get better. Though, this happens only if I don't give up.
