The Diary Game: How I Spent My New Year Day||01/01/2025||

Good evening beautiful people of Steemit Platform and welcome to my blog. Hope you'll had a tremendous day. Today, I'll be sharing my new year day activities. Please, stay tuned and read with love from @uyaiuyo

In the morning, I woke up feeling so energetic. I prayed, moved on to bath my kids and I also had my shower. I served this kids correct chicken pepper soup I made the previous day 31st December which was my birthday. I dressed up and also dressed the kids up.

I know you'll be asking, where are they dressing up to? Oh yes! To the village of course... Smiles. It's our family tradition for every members of the family to celebrate the new year day together. So this was my beautiful face after dressing up.

These are the kids after dressing up too. 'Adiaha Mma' (my baby girl) was twinning with me while 'Akpan Mma' ( my baby boy)was twinning with his father.

This was us inside the car getting ready to move to the village.

Tadah, we arrived the village safely. Everyone was so happy to see us.

I quickly changed into another clothe so I can enter the kitchen as soon as possible.

So, this was me in the kitchen..... Smiles, chef @uyaiuyo I've told everyone before that when It comes to cooking, my hands are blessed and I have magic fingers.

Before I could pronounce my name @uyaiuyo they already did justice to the dog. 'Oh mkpa ewa asido ntoñg ye ntueñ', smiles.

After setting the dog on fire to take off the hairs.... It was also washed, before slaughtering.

Before now, rice was already on fire. So the dog meat was given a steem.

In the afternoon, cooking was still ongoing. My mother in-law returned from church. And this was me taking photos with her.

Before now, dog meat was ready. Chai! It was so yummy. This dog meat was specially prepared by my hubby. He finished work joor.

Since everyone doesn't eat dog meat so we move ahead to prepare the chicken.

We made pepper soup With some, fried some and made stew with some. It was two giant size chicken.

Like this people were already enjoying outside with palm wine, best cream drink and assorted alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks.

We served them food and they all ate to their satisfaction.

In the evening, we were still in the village having fun with family and friends. I bathed the kids, had my bathe and we drove home around pass 10pm. This was how I spent my new year day.
