I remember when social media first started, people used to just chat with friends and family. Now, it seems essential to share every moment. Had breakfast? Post a picture. Went shopping? A million pictures. Travelled somewhere? Non-stop Instagram stories! But in my opinion, oversharing isn't right.
Sure, I don't mind when people share their joys. Someone got married, bought a new car, went on a trip - what's wrong in sharing that? But sometimes, oversharing becomes a problem. It's not necessary to update every hour, every minute. Privacy matters too. Not everything should be shared with the world. Some things about you and your family should remain private, or it could lead to problems. Besides, not everyone needs to know everything about our lives all the time. Just share enough so friends know what's going on with us. No need to go into too much detail.
Many people think if they don't share, others will assume their life is boring. That's a misconception. You don't need anyone else's permission to live your life your way. You don't have to share every moment of your life. Keep some privacy, take some time for yourself. Oversharing can increase stress.
Most people I've seen who constantly post photos of everything - from food to shopping - don't experience any significant changes in their lives. Sure, they get some temporary attention and compliments. But then, it all goes back to normal. I've often heard claims that sharing their lives on social media has brought many benefits. But when I looked closely, I found these claims weren't entirely true.
Nowadays, it's not just about sharing photos. The trend of family vlogs has taken off in our country. These vloggers record everything from the moment they wake up to when they go to bed at night and then share it on YouTube. These vloggers might financially benefit, but at what cost? Selling their and their family's privacy. They even show their bedrooms in vlogs. They don't understand the concept of privacy. They only care about money. Some might think these vloggers have become famous with their family vlogs, but I believe it will harm them in the long run. May God guide them all.
Is all content on social media authentic? I've said it before and I'll say it again: not everything we see on social media is true. Many things are fabricated to make someone's life look perfect and flawless. But in reality, it's not like that. When social media started, people shared genuine joys like wedding photos or travel memories. But now, it's turned into a spectacle! Daily new makeup looks, new clothes, new travel pictures. It seems like everyone's life is a fashion show!
There's so much edited stuff that real life is hardly visible. Just Bollywood-style heroes and heroines, fake smiles, photos taken with extensive makeup. There's not much reality in most people's posts. Everything has to look "picture perfect," whether it's food or a home scene. It's not reality, just an illusion of an ideal life. So, the thing is, you can't trust most of the content on social media. There's only a little bit of reality. The rest is just for show, in my opinion.
Whether it's Steemit or any other social media platform, never share things that are personal on the internet. Things that breach your privacy should never be shared on social media platforms for the sake of money, as the consequences can be severe. Nowadays, with the advent of artificial intelligence, cybercrimes are increasing rapidly. If you want to avoid these, keep your private life private.
Sure, share your memories, event pictures, travel stories, or happy moments you want to tell people about. In this regard, Steemit is a good platform because it rewards you for good content. But personally, I don't support sharing every detail of your life from brushing your teeth in the morning to going to bed at night in the form of vlogs or diary games on social media just for money. The random diary game is somewhat okay, but sharing your daily life and then including things that are personal or private is not right in any way.

Sharing too much on social media can be a privacy problem. The idea of a perfect life on social media isn't always real, people often pretend. It's better to focus on real moments than trying to impress everyone. It's advisable to Keep things genuine and remember, not everything you see online is true.
Success on your entry dear

¡Holaaa amigo!😊

This is very true. No one would upload their low lives in the public but rather those high moments. Those exceptional moments and new arrivals that come our ways after months and years of working hard. But they are presented as if they are easy come by. Good presentation, success.

I agree that we should keep our private area visible for content. There is nothing wrong with sharing our experiences and daily activities on social media, but everything has its limits.
Greetings success to you my friend..
