The diary game || Overgrown weeds jeopardize my water leaf 🍀

I'm happy to share to you all how i spend my day. It was an amazing one though a bit stressful.
Yesterday, I step out to buy some food stuff in the market so i could prepare my dinner. I made a list of some stuffs that wasn't there which was approximately 5000 naira . So as i reach the market i couldn't see most of the stuff that must be bought so I could make my soup ready . I approach where to buy water leaf, but it was in small quantity and unfit for consumption. They said that vegetables is scarce in the market and the one availabled is booked by people who sells in the restaurant. I was unhappy, my melon soup wont be prepared because the ingredients in incomplete. I thought to go for an alternative way which is using okra rather than water leaf, but I said no, because I don't eat okra soup right from my childhood . So, that evening, I only ate some snacks as my dinner and i wasn't satisfied with it.

Early morning today , it was about 6:30 AM. I have to quit all my morning routine and get ready to my water leaf farm because in the past month i have been cultivating and it was helpful until i stopped weeding . Yes, it was my fault because I became lazy and my water leaf were all striving to survive 😢. I was in deep contemplation on how i will finish up everything before going to school, because the school have release a memo that our second semester result is out but not yet updated on the students Portal, yet i have to decide on weeding first because it really matters alot.

To be honest, it been a while i went to the farm. I develop this as a habit but it's not a good of me. Sometimes my mum told me that I'm lazy but I'm not , i just feel that my sisters could handle all the farming work because they're all hard working but to no avail.

Nevertheless, i could remember when my Agricultural Science teacher taught me that low crop production can lead to soil degradation, i didn't understand it until this day. As i arrived at the farm, i discovered that some insects have destroyed alot of my vegetables due to the overgrown weeds. I was disturbed by my conscience. But you know what "how will I complete this whole work manually, like without a hole" this was my mind though I didn't give up.
I started removing the weeds with my hands and everything was going smoothly. It takes me an hour to finish up and even get some water leaf for my soup to be prepared. After all, my water leaf was back to live again.

            CONCLUSION

*Most of the time, it is crucial to get into farming and maintaining our crops and vegetables. Like I slept empty stomach just because I didn't find where to buy a water leaf meanwhile my water leaf farm was neglected. There's a negative consequences, so let's get back to FARMING
