Hello friends it is a pleasure yo post once again in this wonderful community, today i would love to talk about plants in general and the role plants play in human life and their economic importance, so lets begin.
Plants
Plants are living things that consists of various parts both internal and external parts, plants are very essential to human health because they serve of various benefits, which we will discuss as we go on.
Plants are very important in the ecosystem, they inhale carbon dioxide and breath out oxygen which are useful for humans to live healthily. Plants manufacture their food through sunlight and take in water through their roots and the green pigments in plants is also known as chlorophyll. Some plants take differents times to grow, they are classified into annual, biennial and perennial. For the Annual, these are plants that complete their life cycle within 1 year, the biennials are plants that take two years to complete their life cycle while the perennials, these are plants that take 3 or more years to complete their life cycle. Plants can be classified based on their roots, we have the tap root system like the cassava and fibrous root system like the onions.
Importance of plants
Plants provide money for daily living
Plants provide edible materials which are used by humans.
Plants beautify the environment, or it gives the environment a scented smell.
Some plants serve as herbal medicine to some people
Plants are in varieties so humans can never get tired of them.
Some trees serve as shed for humans or as shelter for animals or house for birds.
Some plants also prevent flies from coming into the house by attract them with a sweet fragrance and eaten them.
Some plants also prevents snakes from getting strongly into a house or compound.
