Hello friends it is is a pleasure to post in steem4nigeria once agian, and today i will talk about computer technology, but in schools we call it lnformation and communication technology(ICT). The topic i will like to be discussing on is programming language, so please continue reading my posts.

PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE

A program is a set of instructions that tells the computer what to do. Computer programming is the act of lnstructing the computer to perform a specific task. The person who writes programs for the computer is called a computer programmer.
A computer programming language is an artificial language designed to commuicate instruction to a machine, particularly to a computer.

Levels of programming language

1. Machine language: It is a languge in which the computer system carries out instructions immediately without any translation of the program. It is the only language that the computer system understands. It consist of 0's and 1's.

2. Low level language: It is a machine dependent language weitten in symbolic codes but understandable by human beings.

3. High level language: It is a programming languge written in form of english like language for better understanding by programmers.

NB: All other levels of languages must be converted to the machine language before execution.

1. Visual basic
2. Cobol (Common business and oriented language)
3. Fortran (Formular translator)
4. Dos(Disk operating syatem)
5. Javascript
6. Html (Hyper text markup language)
7. ctt language
8. Sql (Structured qwery language)
