Greetings ma'am
@goodybest and all the steemians in the house, with great joy in my heart I'm here to participate in this lovely cooking contest organized here in this community.
Nigeria my country is indeed blessed with numerous traditional meals and today I'm going to share how to prepare one of my favorite best soups. keep calm and follow the procedures then thank me later. Before then, I want to give you a little high light about the vegetable which I'm going to prepare.
It is called African spinach and it's one of the best nutritious vegetables which is very healthy for the body, also it makes the immune system very strong and is good for digestion. In some parts of the world, people consume it raw while some prefer to cook it, but in my case, I prefer it's cooked in low heat.
`Step 1:` I first washed all my fresh ingredients then i set them aside. After which I grand my pepper mixed with onions.
Now I chop my vegetables and then I washed them with salt.
I then sliced my ponmo(cow skin) into smaller sizes. Also, I removed the bones of the fish and wash them well.
Step 2:
I got a clean pot, then I put my cow skin, fish, grinded pepper, Maggie cubes, and palm oil into the pot after which I placed it on fire added one cup of water, and allowed it to cook well.
Step 3:
when the mixture was cooked I allowed the water to be thicker after which I added my vegetables to it. To get the greenish vegetable which I wanted I did not cover the pot.
After some seconds my soup was ready. Below are my yummy vegetable soups. I enjoy eating my vegetable without fufu.
In conclusion vegetables, soups are one of the best soups here in Nigeria and they can be eaten with any tuwo, fufu, white rice, and more.
It is my favorite traditional meal and often prepare it because it is very simple and yummy😋.
