Sexual violence can occur in a variety of settings, and it can be intentional or unintentional. It refers to any sexual attempt to obtain a sexual act, or unwanted sexual comments or acts directed against a person's sexuality in any setting, including at home and at work, by anyone, regardless of their relationship to the victim.

Rape, rape on a date, marital rape, and intimate partner abuse are all examples of sexual violence. Sexual violence occurs when a person is forced to engage in sexual activity that they do not want to do. This includes,

1.Sexual touching without consent For instance, kissing, grabbing, and fondling.

Sexual violence can occur even when there is no actual penetration. Sexually touching someone without their consent is considered an act of sexual violence. Caressing someone's thigh without their consent, for example, is a violent act.

2. Forced sexual intercourse

This is the most common type or form of sexual violence that people associate with sexual violence in general. This entailed performing sexual acts on another person without their consent, also known as rape. Victims of rape are almost always emotionally disturbed.

3. Forcing a person to perform in a sexual act.

Another type of sexual violence in which a person is forced to engage in sex. In this case, the victim may be asked to have sex with another person at the molester's request. The concept becomes clearer in a scenario in which a thief breaks into a house and orders a boy to sleep with his sister. In this case, the boy and his sister were subjected to sexual violence after being coerced into performing a sexual act.

4. Beating sexual parts of the body.

Another form of sexual violence is beating the sexual parts of a person's body, either during or after sexual intercourse. Spanking during sexual activities may be considered sexual violence because it causes pain to the partner.

5. Forcing someone to view pornographic materials or participate in pornography.

Forcing someone to watch porn or view pornography materials without their consent is also considered sexual violence. Pornography can give viewers a negative impression of the concept of sex. Pornography should not be imposed on others because it is a form of sexual violence. Everyone has the right to see what they want to see without fear of repercussions.

6. The use of a weapon to compel compliance.

To force compliance, a non compliant woman or girl may be threatened with a weapon. Many deaths have resulted from this scenario, in which the victim was stabbed with a knife or other lethal weapon because they refused to have sex with their molesters.

7. Making inappropriate sexual comments or jokes.

Sexual violence can also occur in this way. Making derogatory sexual remarks to others constitutes sexual violence. Surprisingly, such things happen on the internet and social media all the time. Unwelcome Sexual remarks can have a negative psychological impact on victims. Such comments are common on social media, and they may not be appreciated by the person to whom they are directed. Some of these sexual comments may not be bad because they are always said privately between husbands and wives, but it becomes sexual violence when it is passed to someone publicly and is not welcomed by the person. Such remarks cause them embarrassment and lower their self-esteem.

8. Refusing sexual affection

Sexual violence between husband and wife is possible. Sexual violence can be committed by withholding sexual affection and love from a partner. Sexual violence between husband and wife takes the form of denying sex. This type of sexual violence usually occurs when one partner is unhappy with the other partner for whatever reason.

9. Forced prostitution

Forced prostitution as a means of providing a means of livelihood for a girl's family is sexual violence, as is trafficking girls to other places for the purpose of using them as prostitutes.

10. Unfounded claim of promiscuity or infidelity.

Sexual violence can also occur when a girl or woman is falsely accused of being promiscuous. It can also take the form of a married woman being accused of unfaithfulness or infidelity by her husband, which is not the case. Such allegations portray women as unfaithful partners who are cheap or lacking in self-esteem. Many people who were unable to accept responsibility for their actions committed suicide.

11. Public masturbation

Masturbation is the manual erotic stimulation of the genitals or other erotic regions, frequently to orgasm, by oneself or a partner, frequently with the use of one's hand in rubbing the sexual organs to derive pleasure. Masturbating in public is thus a form of sexual violence because it disrupts the psychological peace of those who witness such acts in public.

12. Denial of sexual information.

Sexual violence occurs when a person is denied sexual information that he or she requires to become a better and healthier sexual person. Parents who deny their girl child access to sexual information she requires are engaging in sexual violence, because such information will help the girl learn more about her sexuality and ways to maintain herself during sexual acts.
