What is your understanding of soundtrack?

Soundtrack is like a musical background in a movie, or a short clip. It is usually a soft one on the background to complement a scene.

What is your favorite soundtrack from all the movies you watched?

"Be thou my vision" by John Rhys-Davies. The music was originally done in 1919 by its original owner. I was deeply touched by this soundtrack. It meant everything to me when I first heard it. I couldn't really pick out the lyrics of the song, but the scene it came in brought tears to my eyes. This movie caught my attention like no other.

What movie was it used in? And why do you like it?

The name if the cartoon is: The Pilgrim's Progress. I like so much because it paints a picture of what people go through, or will have to go through to be saved. Although it's mostly in humanly forms how to fight distractions, persecution, and sin, I really learned and applied it in a more possible form. The Pilgrim's Progress is a must watch for everyone who is not satisfied and truly convicted of their faith. Every part of the cartoon speaks clear messages in high volumes.

How often do you love listening to your favourite soundtrack.

At least three times in a week. When I'm doing my chores, when in the vehicle, and during my quiet times. Be Thou my vision is worth more than just a song. It is also a meditation, a prayer and a declarative pronouncement.

Conclusion

Soundtracks are not just there because they have to be there. They tell the content of what we watch in a different way that complements it. Sometimes we might even know the end of the story from the soundtrack that is chosen. That is why care must be taken to select a good soundtrack that aligns well with the movie. And these soundtracks when chosen should come in at the right scenes to boost that particular scene. It takes creativity for one to get it right.
