My Lifestyle Content Choices WK2: the means of transportation I used within the week

in hive-147599 •  2 years ago

Transportation is the conveyance of people or something from one place to another. This is made easier with the means of transportation like: cars, donkeys, motorcycles, bicycles, aircrafts, ships and so on. Sometimes, I wonder what I would've done without these means of transportation we have now. Apart from the means being made available, what if they were only made for some set of people who'd only use it whenever they wished to, and so those who didn't have the means to go somewhere or take their goods somewhere would be stranded.
Thankfully, anybody can choose what means they they can afford and still get to their destination. She thing with goods, one's goods can get anywhere with the aid of transportation.
The means I used within the are:

In the car

I was going to the store to get some things with my Dad. Going out together is fun. It didn't cost me anything. I chose to go with him too help him with the bags. Guess behaviour was really cool, and I enjoyed every second of the ride. The ride wasn't too slow, nor too fast, it was just okay.

Second means of transportation I used within the week was a minibus.

I chose to use this means of transportation because it's way faster than tricycle (Keke). It's even the best means if I'm rushing somewhere, that's if the driver is good at driving. Yesterday, as I was coming from school, the minibus I entered to come home almost got into an accident. The driver had signalled the pedestrian to wait for him to drive pass, but maybe there was a misinterpretation on the pedestrian's end, so the guy began to cross and suddenly fell to the ground from the shock that he was almost hit by the vehicle.

He got up immediately and apologized to the driver. The reaction of the driver wowed me, he shouted at the pedestrian for trying to get him into trouble.
I later found out he(the driver), wasn't feeling too well that morning, and might've added to him responding that way instead of apologizing to the pedestrian as well.
I wouldn't say the driver is a bad person because he acted very nicely with the passengers, but sometimes we can't control our emotions, especially when we didn't expect something to happen, and it did happen suddenly.

But I learnt from the pedestrian that there's nothing wrong, and there's no shame in apologizing first, whether I'm at fault or not.
That's one of the problems we have in nonverbal communication too, our signs can contradict with verbal communication.
So we have to be careful when driving, or trying to cross the road.

I'd like to invite @coolj2, @okere-blessing and@monz122 to participate in the contest.

Cool 😊

Thanks.

Best luck, keep going. In life we learn everyday even from our mistakes, so learning will never stop as far as existence is concern, we learn. I like what the pedestrian did by apologizing to the driver. I also learnt from here, thank you for sharing.

I'm glad.
Thanks too.
