Ocean Builders, a company engaged in the construction of "floating autonomous houses", plans to buy a cruise liner and provide cabins to cryptographic companies.
Built in 1991, the "Pacific Dawn" liner will be purchased from an Australian company and converted into a floating center, specialized for the needs of cryptographic companies and entrepreneurs. At the same time, part of the cabins will be prepared for family living. The ship will be renamed "Satoshi" and moored off the coast of the Gulf of Panama so that the companies working on the liner will fall under the appropriate jurisdiction.
"We hope to create a center of technology and innovation right here in Panama. Our goal is to work sustainably at sea and put new waters on the map of cryptographic companies," said Ocean Builders Chief Operating Officer Chad Elwartowski.
The sale of 200 of the 777 cabins for cryptovite entrepreneurs is scheduled for November 5. The cost of one cabin will range from $25,000 to $50,000, and you can pay for the purchase in both U.S. dollars and bitcoins. In addition to company offices and cabins for accommodation on the liner will be placed restaurants, casinos, clinics and even water attractions.
"We will sell cabins on decks. The point is that an entrepreneur going to live on the liner with his family can buy a cabin with an ocean view for adults, and a cabin opposite for children. The living room will be the rest of the ship", - said Elvartovski.
The opening of the ship "Satoshi" for accommodation and work of cryptographic companies should take place in early 2021. It should be noted that crypt-currency companies often choose Panama because of the friendliness of this jurisdiction to cryptocurrencies. Thus, at the beginning of the year, the exchange Deribit announced the change of jurisdiction to Panama.
