Un lugar hermoso. / A beautiful place.

Quiero compartir con ustedes algunas fotografías que son de hace unos meses atrás, he tenido la oportunidad de visitar este zoológico que está muy cerca de mi casa. Este Zoológico lleva aproximadamente 43 años desde su apertura y está ubicado en Caricuao, Caracas Venezuela, es un lugar bastante hermoso, tiene mucha naturaleza y lugares que son excelentes para reflexionar una tarde, donde el sonido del viento que mueve los árboles se convierte en una melodía para los oídos. Lo único que puedo decir que no me gusta de este lugar, es ver algunos animales que deberían estar en un hábitat diferente, más libres… Hace unos años un Elefante que vivió años en este zoológico murió por desnutrición además de que ya estaba viejo, los únicos que están libres por todo el zoológico e incluso fuera de él son los monos, del resto muchos están enjaulados.

I want to share with you some photographs that are from a few months ago, I have had the opportunity to visit this zoo that is very close to my house.
This Zoo has been approximately 43 years since its opening and is located in Caricuao, Caracas Venezuela, it is quite a beautiful place, it has a lot of nature and places that are excellent to reflect on an afternoon, where the sound of the wind that moves the trees becomes a melody for the ears.
The only thing I can say that I do not like about this place, is seeing some animals that should be in a different habitat, freer ... A few years ago an Elephant that lived for years in this zoo died of malnutrition, in addition to being old, the only ones that are free throughout the zoo and even outside it are the monkeys, many of the rest are caged.

Les mostrare algunos animalitos que pude captar en varias oportunidades que fui a este zoológico, para que vean la variedad que hay de especies.

I will show you some animals that I was able to capture on several occasions that I went to this zoo, so that you can see the variety of species living there.

Y por supuesto hay más, que no tuve la oportunidad de fotografiar, este zoológico tiene varios espacios donde tiene: Gallinas, patos, cerdos, mapaches, loros, cocodrilos, leones, tigres, tortugas.

And of course there is more, that I did not have the opportunity to photograph, this zoo has several spaces where it has: chickens, ducks, pigs, raccoons, parrots, crocodiles, lions, tigers, turtles.

Aquí les dejo una serie de fotografías que tomé de algunos lugares parte de ese Zoologico que están llenos de naturaleza y vida, allí te puedes sentar y perderte en tus pensamientos, también sirve para inspirarte a hacer cualquier cosa creativa, los días de semana eran los mejores para visitar este lugar, ya que no iba mucha gente y hay mas calma, los fines de semana si estaba repleto de gente y niños corriendo por todas partes.

Here I leave you a series of photographs that I took of some places that are part of that Zoo that are full of nature and life, there you can sit and lose yourself in your thoughts, it also serves to inspire you to do anything creative, the days of the week were the better to visit this place, since there were not many people and there is more calm, on weekends if it was full of people and children running everywhere.

Esta fue la última vez que visite el zoológico, fue antes de la orden de cuarentena cuando el virus aun no llegaba a Venezuela, estábamos paseando y jugando por allí, ahora esperamos en un futuro muy cercano volver a ese lugar.

This was the last time I visited the zoo, it was before the quarantine order when the virus had not yet reached Venezuela, we were walking and playing there, now we hope to return to that place in the very near future.
