Hello my friends how is your day going i hope you all are doing great. I came to the capital "Kathmandu" from my home "Tansen" for work. lockdown is still in place but we can travel with the vehicle pass issued from the office of "chief district officer". The journey is along 2 different national highways. First 40KM is along the "siddhartha highway" and other 300 KM is along the "East-west highway".
Journey begins with this van and 3 other people. First we leave the town and join the "Siddhartha" highway along the tinau river. The road is located in the hills with many sharp turning and difficult road conditions. But you get to see the beautiful mountains and small waterfall along the way.
These are the pictures that i clicked from my phone from the moving van so please consider the image quality.
This road is one of the dangerous in the country because of the active landslide zone which obstructs and takes several life every year in the monsoon period.
After this area we come to the city called "Butwal" and join the "East-West highway". This is one of the most important highway of the country running through the length of the country. It runs mainly through the plain region of Terai area and some dense forests.
We cross one of the major and religious river of the country "Saptagandaki" and enter the city of "Narayangadh" complete the half of our journey.
After this we continue our journey through difficult hilly terrain, but thanks to some development projects and some road construction the road is made better and you can see many bridges and other construction on the highway.
Our driver thought it was a great idea to buy some bananas and it was, those were delicious and we bought whole bunch.
Now we continue alongside another beautiful river "Trishuli" which is very famous for Rafting and other recreational sports.
As we come near to the city the jam is getting worse and worse. It is due to police checking for the containment of COVID-19, after some hours of tiresome jam we finally enter the city .
