What if we only had the main ingredients of all-purpose flour in our current quarantine life?
That happened to me yesterday. I didn't have enough food and it was raining so I couldn't buy extra food.
Then yesterday I thought about making a simple NO EGG MIE.
If last year I had successfully experimented with making Moringa Noodles, then yesterday I only wanted to make noodles with flour and boiling water.
Materials
- 250 grams of all-purpose flour
- 120 boiling water
Note: if the dough is still not good, add water if the flour is not yet smooth, and add flour if the dough is still soft.
How to make
- Mix flour with boiling water.
- Then knead it well. Then leave the dough for 10 minutes.
- After 10 minutes, thin the dough with a rolling pin.
- After thin, we can cut the dough lengthwise to resemble noodles.
What is the process of cooking noodles to be enjoyed?
After the noodles are finished, boil the water. Dip the noodles for 2-3 minutes. Do not let the texture become mushy because we will cook the noodles again.
Remove the noodles, then soak in ice water for at least 10 minutes before cooking again.
I only sauteed noodles with simple spices. You can cook noodles according to your taste.
This can really save the day in quarantine. So don't forget to have a all-purpose flour in your home.
