This was more than 2 years ago, my first post about mushrooms and only the fourth post on the platform)
Then, I still knew absolutely nothing about the platform and how and what to do ... For several months I just posted various photos from my walks in the forest, taken on an old phone, coming up with just a name and a small description for them at the beginning)
Only a few months later, looking at other people's posts, I began to understand that the descriptions should be complete and the photos should be of high quality)
Also, not knowing what communities Steam have, I took tags out of my head)
In general, I acted on the principle of Instagram ...
In general, this is how the whole "My First Post about Mushrooms" looked)))
Tree mushrooms
Walk through the woods and such wonderful finds)
There are not even spaces between the photos, what a shame!)
In the last photo you can see my future wife)
And this is what the tags looked like)
#photography #hiking #mushrooms #grass
And I really hoped for some kind of feedback)
So let's see what this post might look like if I had a little understanding of what to do!
(Although even now, I am still quite a layman, and up to many of you Dear Friends and your posts, I still have to grow and grow !!)
Three Kinds of Beautiful Polypores
Fomes fomentarius
This Polyporus grow for decades, sometimes reaching incredible sizes, increasing the growth rate in favorable weather, and stopping in unfavorable ... Therefore, they, like trees, have annual rings!
This specimen, for example, fell off a tree, under the pressure of its own weight ...
From the rings you can roughly estimate how old it is!
They can grow at the very roots,
or they can grow very high,
at times completely covering the entire tree trunk!
Previously, this mushroom was used as tinder to ignite fire and transfer fire from place to place, as it smolders for a very long time ...
Its pulp was also used by dentists to stop blood instead of cotton!
Now, various fashionable hats are made from this mushroom, as well as leatherette ...
Laetiporus sulphureus
This mushroom needs no introduction, I think everyone knows and loves it, for its beautiful view,
and outstanding taste ...
which is usually compared to either boiled chicken or egg)
Cerioporus squamosus
And another very famous and very widespread mushroom!
It usually grows in large families ...
It can also reach incredible sizes!
While it is young, its pulp can be eaten, this mushroom has a sweetish flavor, and the sub of it is simply unmatched! But when it gets old, it becomes rubbery, and a large part of the mushroom goes to the trash! ... In principle, the same as Laetiporus sulphureus)
For example, these two packages turned out to be a pan for 3 liters of ready-made boiled mushrooms) everything else was very tough ...
Many thanks to my friend @bambuka who told me about this relay!
Also thanks to the wonderful person, and a good friend of mine @qwerrie who introduced me to the Fungi Lovers community and helped me figure out what's what)
And I would like to pass the baton @borjan sure he will delight us with wonderful photographs!
That's all for today, thanks for reaching the end!)
Take care of yourself and your loved ones!
