Binance has long had a section of it's business involved in the education of new users at Binance Academy. It's a great place to look for cryptocurrency specific information, from glossary definitions through to longer form articles.... and as a casual writer, it is also a place where you can also submit informational articles about some aspect of the cryptocurrency ecosystem. In fact, I have quite a number of longer form articles and glossary entries that I have had submitted and accepted. As a nice bonus, you are paid for each accepted submission with the Binance token (BNB), which you can then hold or rebalance into other cryptocurrencies... or just cash out!
Just today, Binance have launched an Ask section at https://academy.binance.com/ask/questions and as an incentive for asking and answering questions, there is a bounty of 500 dollars in BNB up for grabs. This is split 100 dollars for asking questions and 400 dollars for answering them, with 10 winners in each category. All you need is a Binance account to take part.
The rules are common-sense.... you can't ask and answer your own question and you need to answer in your own words (no plagarism). Binance tends to be pretty good at doing these contests, so I would think twice before trying to game the system! Despite that, scammers and gold-diggers are coming out of the woodwork... or just fail completely to understand the rules (or just never got past... 500 dollars...). The twitter announcement is hilarious, with people posting and answering questions in the Twitter thread!
Still... the best way to help adoption (at least for me...) is to try and provide information and education. The questions range from the mundane through to the highly technical. At the moment, I'm trying to explain the difference between scriptPubKey and P2SH address for Bitcoin.... that said, I enjoy the challenge, and there are lower hanging fruit if you are not so technically minded!
Give it a go, and perhaps learn something yourself at Binance Academy... you only need a Binance account to take part on either question asking or the question answering side of things!... and who knows, if you are a good teacher... perhaps Binance will take note?
Coin Tracking
Looking for a quick and easy way to keep track of your cryptocurrencies? Coin Tracking offers a free service that includes manual tracking or automatic tracking via APIs to exchanges, allowing you to easily track and declare your cryptocurrencies for taxation reports. Coin Tracking can easily prepare tax information sheets that are catered to each countries individual taxation requirements (capital gains, asset taxation, FIFO). Best to declare legally and not be caught out when your crypto moons and you are faced with an unexpected taxation bill (unless you are hyper secure and never attach any crypto with traceable personal information, good luck with that!).
Keep Your Crypto Holdings Safe with Ledger
Ledger is one of the leading providers of hardware wallets with the Ledger Nano S being one of the most popular choices for protecting your crypto currencies. Leaving your holdings on a crypto exchange means that you don’t actually own the digital assets, instead you are given an IOU that may or may not be honoured when you call upon it. Software and web based wallets have their weakness in your own personal online security, with your private keys being vulnerable in transit or whilst being stored upon your computer. Paper wallets are incredibly tiresome and still vulnerable to digital attacks (in transit) and are also open to real world attacks (such as theft/photography).
Supporting a wide range of top tokens and coins, the Ledger hardware wallet ensures that your private keys are secure and not exposed to either real world or digital actors. Finding a happy medium of security and usability, Ledger is the leading company in providing safe and secure access to your tokenised future!
