Moving from one blog to another I met with Beach Wednesday and with @uwelang announcing the move to Hive for the two challenges launched many years ago in Steemit. It's about #BeachWednesday and #SunThursday! I am a fan of the sea and the beach, of course, and I'm glad to find out.
One of the many regrets in this life is that I do not live near the sea. Now, if I dream, I would have wanted in a Mediterranean area.
I managed to satisfy a bit of this regret because I managed to get close to the sea on vacation. The distance between my house and the sea, other than the one that borders a part of Romania, the Black Sea, is around 1000 km. Even less if I go to the nearest Greek island, Thassos.
Of course, I chose Thassos, closer and that means lower costs and less to drive. About 800 km.
This year, unfortunately, it seems that the dream will remain only a dream. This global crisis with coronavirus has closed all borders. This is the hardest hit (after an eventual illness but I hope it doesn't happen)
I just have to enjoy the memories from the previous holidays. I took many pictures that now tell me the story of past pleasures.
Returning to the challenge of @uwelang, #beachwednesday, I'm thinking of reminding myself of the distant beaches and deserts of the small town of Limenaria in Thassos. It is the place where I hope I can go until everything ends for me.
What is wonderful about an island is that almost all the shore is actually a beach! Free and unmanaged, you can have the feeling that they have been unchanged since ancient Greece.
No sunbeds and umbrellas. Without rescue and the crowd of tourists. You can sit alone and admire the sea.
This is the sea and the beach I love and that is why I seek them so far from home. However, too much loneliness is not good either, and the island, of course, also offers places for socializing. The Greeks know how to offer such places.
Well, I find it no greater pleasure than to sit on such a terrace and admire the divine view. So I would like to be in heaven.
If I knew this was waiting for me in heaven then I would have been a much better man.
I have to take the second heaven and enjoy my eyes with beauty!
Down there, a few tens of meters away, the deserted beach awaits. It has been waiting for thousands of years! Let's enjoy the second that is given to us.
God, what a joy it has only made me remember the days without worry.
I have already forgotten that in a little while I will be able to leave the house, within the two hours that I am allowed to do my shopping. We have suddenly come to the ugly reality we are experiencing now. Just a flower to alleviate the unpleasant feeling of fear, worry, and isolation.
Following this tag proposed by @dswigle, #alwaysaflower, I finish this blog.
This post was initially posted here but I think all my friends, wherever they are, should see it.
As long as we are threatened by this invisible enemy, it's good to protect ourselves!
Great! I love the beaches and sun!
