Hello everyone,

Hola a todos,

In this post I will tell you what happened when we did not know that the Covid-19 arrived in Venezuela, where an outing for a walk became a confinement.

That day was March 15, 2020, I went out early with my mom and daughter to the city of Barquisimeto del Estado Lara, we were going to an event on the night of some singers, and see my sister to share with her, go for a walk we had planned and a different weekend outside our house. We arrived in Barquisimeto at noon, that day my sister was not waiting in the center, so that we would first go to the office where she currently works, it is a well-known Naguara.com journalism page in Barquisimeto.

We arrived, we left our things, we went out to eat at a restaurant that is close to my sister's office, we ate baked chicken with rice and salad, we had time that we did not go out to eat together, after we had that delicious lunch we returned to the My sister's office, in that one of his colleagues tells him that the President held a press conference to report that there are cases of Covid-19 in Venezuela, that events were canceled, cinemas closed, shopping malls, any place where there are concentrations . Our weekend outing had changed course, now it was a nightmare that we were beginning to live, at that moment what went through my mind was going home. We went out to buy the necessary things but in the center of that city there was a chaos of people in queues buying wholesale, the pharmacies in less than two hours were exhausted the mask, gloves, antibacterial alcohol, people with masks and gloves, we bought was to prepare dinner. My sister to distract us a little from the situation makes my daughter take some photos modeling with the stand of Naguara.com at that time with their laughter, poses my daughter did not forget the terror that occurred.

The next day we decided to go home, the situation in that city was getting stronger, before I was to close the roads it was better to return, not having a mask my mother took a cloth from a medical gown that we had material from when my father they were going to operate on him, my mother started to wear the masks to protect us on the road, my two-year-old daughter has no knowledge of what is happening, my sister begins to put the mascara on with a set, to which she he leaves and tells him to send the photo to his dad (uncle) so that he can see it as he looks with his mask, my sister takes a photo of her, she innocently laughs, if she could put her mask on without a fight to a child of that age, as he explains that there is an illness that must be taken care of, with games that you can reach children, made me remember a very famous movie "Life is Beautiful",

We arrived at the terminal where we got on the bus, two hours long to reach our house, disinfectants, feeling calm. Where an exit to distract us turned to a nightmare that we did not imagine this would come to this country, today is a month of that departure, currently the situation in my country is that they extended 30 days plus quarantine, asking God that this disease do not continue to spread.
