This challenge arises from the supposed fact that we have a surprise visitor, who obviously does not know our city; and we only have 24 hours to show the greatest tourist attraction that our town has. For this reason, I will show you the "El Empalao" hill, located in Cagua, Aragua State, Venezuela.
Cerro "El Empalao" tiene aproximadamente unos 700 metros de altitud, y esconde un fin histórico que muy pocas personas conocen... Ya que su nombre proviene de la palabra "Empalar" (Clavar en una estaca), lo cual era el castigo recibido por los aborígenes que se oponían fervientemente al hecho de ser esclavizados y a la ocupación de los Españoles a nuestro territorio.
Cerro "El Empalao" has approximately 700 meters of altitude, and hides a historical purpose that very few people know ... Since its name comes from the word "Empalar" (driving into a stake), which was the punishment received by the aborigines who fervently opposed the fact of being enslaved and the occupation of the Spanish in our territory.
Hoy en día el cerro "El Empalao" es un atractivo deportivo, apreciado sobretodo por trotadores y caminantes; quienes tienden a subir a la cima a través de sus caminerias, con la finalidad de gozar de buena salud; y también para el disfrute de pasar un rato distinto.
Today "El Empalao" hill is a sporting attraction, appreciated especially by joggers and walkers; who tend to climb to the top through their paths, in order to enjoy good health; and also for the enjoyment of spending a different time.

I have never been to Venezuela, but I have recently gotten to know lots of venezuelans here on Steemit, especially through the Project Hope community. And getting to know them and reading your article makes me want to visit your country someday!
