This is some exciting news to wake up to alright!

I just love being on this #blockchain space, always something new to wake up to and look forward to.

Most of us, at least those that create video content have been eagerly waiting for @dtube's mainnet launch and it is finally happening! Just a couple of weeks to go and we can fully enjoy a triple chain video platform... Avalon, Steem & Hive! Now that is greatness, and a great opportunity for diversification for content creators!

If there's anything the #steemhostiletakeover has taught me, it's to put my feelings/emotions aside when it comes to project and to start thinking of what's best for me as a content creators, and right now, given the economic state of the world, that would be to max out on the platforms and #dapps I am making use of. If indeed crypto is the future, you need to be strategically placed to reap the full benefits as a content creator.

It's also interesting to note how @dtube team has decided to do their airdrop, not something I have seen any other project execute.

We calculated the list based on the beneficiary rewards generated on DTube videos through time. Bad actors such as bid-bots or spammers have been arbitrarily excluded from the airdrop.

Rewarding the contributors on the platform the most first, which is both creators and curators. Of course there will be those that are unhappy with this strategy, and I am eager to see the response over the course of the week.

I haven't been as active on DTube as I have been the last 2 years lately. Mostly because life happens and there's only so much we can do with our time. But this announcement has given me the motivation to keep creating. I can't believe I made it to the top 20 of the list, truly surprised. I also see some other well deserving creators, and hopefully this pays off in the long-run.

One thing I am loving about Avalon is the ability to accumulate your voting over time and being able to spend it all at once on a single post. It's such a great way to add value to creators and to help them earn more.
