Finding spiders in my garden has become something very common, this morning while watering the plants I realized that there was a cumulus of the web in one of the leaves of the papaya plant, when I check it immediately I jump a little friend, it is very common to see these little spiders jumping, are usually in the garden and in fact inside the house I have come to see them, I remember that since I was a child my grandmother told me that they eat small insects and even flies, because they are so agile that they can catch them, and it is really amazing the ability to jump fast and far they have.
This little friend is really fascinating, she has 4 pairs of eyes, but two of them are simply impressive because they stand out even when we are not seeing her with the magnification of a camera lens, this little one allowed me to take some pictures of her as to choose the best ones.
This is a spider of the family Salticidae, its name is Frigga Pratensis, this like all the jumping spiders, possess as I already mentioned 4 pairs of eyes, 3 fixed secondary pairs and a main pair (those that are impossible to pass unnoticed) that are mobile. These little ones are hunters and can jump several times the length of their body, but they never make a false jump, they make sure to leave a web thread fixed to where they are at the moment of the jump, so as not to fall into the void without any protection, this is just a small sample of the level of intelligence that these amazing little ones have. These are not great weavers so you will not find them prostrate in a spider web waiting for something to fall into their nets, these are hunters and they usually stalk their prey, and by throwing themselves into the attack, they are really fast for their tiny size, and despite not having big muscular legs they can jump very well.

This little wasp also surprised me today, I already knew that they stop to drink water when they need it, however, I had never had the opportunity to see them and even less to capture that moment, although it is not one of the best pictures that can be taken of a wasp, I wanted to share them with you because I was really amazed to see the tranquility with which this little girl drank water and then withdrew, although I could determine that it is a kind of paper wasp, or trash wasp as they are also known, I could not determine which species is given that the photograph was not the best I could take. Besides, I didn't want to follow where they were going because a little sting like this hurts a lot, and I didn't want to have a bad time, I just hope they are not making a honeycomb in my garden or near my house.

Encontrar arañas en mi jardín se ha vuelto algo muy común, esta mañana mientras regaba las plantas me di cuenta que había un cumulo de telaraña en una de las hojas de la planta de papaya, cuando la revise de inmediato salto una pequeña amiguita, es muy común ver estas arañitas saltarinas, están por lo general en el jardín y de hecho dentro de la casa las he llegado a ver, recuerdo que desde pequeña mi abuela me decía que estas se comen los insectos pequeños e incluso las moscas, pues son tan agiles que pueden atraparlas, y realmente es asombrosa la capacidad de saltar rápido y lejos que tienen.
Esta diminuta amiguita es realmente fascinante, tiene 4 pares de ojos, pero dos de estos son sencillamente impresionantes pues resaltan aun cuando no la estamos viendo con el aumento del lente de una cámara, esta pequeña me permitió tomarle algunas fotos como para escoger las mejores.

Esta es una araña de la familia Salticidae, su nombre es Frigga Pratensis, esta como todas las arañas saltarinas, poseen como ya lo mencioné 4 pares de ojos, 3 pares secundarios fijos y un par principal (esos que son imposibles de pasar desapercibidos) que son móviles. Estas pequeñas son cazadoras y pueden saltar varias veces la longitud de su cuerpo, pero nunca hacen un salto en falso, se aseguran de dejar un hilo de telaraña fijado a donde se encuentren en el momento del salto, para no caer al vacío sin ninguna protección, esto es solo una pequeña muestra del nivel de inteligencia que tienen estas pequeñas asombrosas. Estas no son grandes tejedoras por lo que no las encontraras postradas en una telaraña esperando que algo caiga en sus redes, estas son cazadoras y por lo general asechan a sus presas, y lanzándose al ataque, son realmente rápidas para su diminuto tamaño, y a pesar de no contar con grandes patas musculosas pueden saltar muy bien.
Esta pequeña avispa también me sorprendió hoy, ya sabía que ellas se detienen a beber agua cuando lo necesita, sin embargo nunca había tenido la oportunidad de verlas y menos de capturar ese momento, si bien no es de las mejores fotos que se puedan tomar de una avispa, quise compartirlas con ustedes pues de verdad me quede asombrada de ver la tranquilidad con la que esta pequeña tomaba agua y luego se retiraba, aunque pude determinar que es una especie de Avispa del papel, o avispa papelera como también se les conoce, no pude determinar que especie es dado a que la fotografía no fue la mejor que pude tomar. Además, no quise seguir a donde iban pues una picadita de estas duele bastante, y no quería pasar un mal rato, solo espero que no estén fabricando un panal en mi jardín o cerca de mi casa.
