-He
He was there. He'd always been there, or so he thought.
When his eyes were open, there were only two colors he could see, blue or black. But it was a pure blue, strangely comfortable for his eyes. He only wanted one thing; he wanted to be able to see that blue forever.
The sensations were more than just visible. That said, he only had a sense of sight and it was very limited. There was nothing else he could see but that intense blue. Yet he could feel, or it would be correct to say that he could sense its presence.
She had always been there, keeping him company.
-She
I knew she was there, I knew it because she was always there. Even before he did. Not by much difference as you remember, just a few moments of seconds.
She could only see red when he was awake. She had determined this empirically, but she really had no way of confirming it with certainty. It was the only way she could believe it, and she felt good about it.
She perceived the red emitted by his body as his only reason for being. There was no other motivation for her than to see his warm red color, and she was content with that mission.
-They
Both danced, one parallel to the other, in a sea of purist black. There were only two spots: red and blue. Glowing faintly and melting into one little by little in the immense darkness that enveloped them.
