Hello to all the community of Gems, today I want to tell you how we celebrate this excellent Father's Day in my family.

     Hola a toda la comunidad de Gems, hoy les quiero contar como celebramos este excelente Día del Padre en mi familia.

     For this day, we decided to prepare some delicious pizzas as a family, but since my brother's family had to go out and do some things, my parents and I started with the preparation.

     Para este día, decidimos preparar unas deliciosas pizzas en familia, pero ya que la familia de mi hermano tuvo que salir a hacer algunas cosas, mis padres y yo, comenzamos con la preparación.

     My mom made the dough, she's the expert in that kind of thing, she took care of everything, from preparing it to kneading it and leaving it in its place.

     Mi mamá hizo la masa, es la experta en ese tipo de cosas, se encargó de todo, desde la prepararla hasta amasarla y dejarla en su punto.

     I was in charge of grating the cheese, well only one of them, since for this occasion we made a pizza with two cheeses, white cheese and, of course, mozzarella cheese, as we would make several pizzas, I had to wrap it up for a while to grate enough.

     Yo me encargué de rallar el queso, bueno solo uno de ellos, ya que para esta ocasión hicimos una pizza dos quesos, queso blanco y como no podía ser de otra forma, queso mozzarella, como haríamos varias pizzas, me tocó fajarme un buen rato para rallar la cantidad suficiente.

     Since you can only bake one at a time in our oven, we had to make one at a time, take advantage of the time. While I was grating, my dad was adding the ingredients to the dough, the sauce, the ham, the paprika and finally the cheeses, so that when they are grilled they cover the whole pizza.

     Como en nuestro horno solo se puede hornear una a la vez, teníamos que haciendo una a una, aprovechar el tiempo. Mientras yo rallaba, mi papá iba agregando los ingredientes a la masa, la salsa, el jamón, el pimentón y los quesos, para que estos al gratinarse cubran toda la pizza, además de eso, como toque personal le agregamos orégano, para darle un poco más de gusto.

     After some time in the oven, the first pizza was ready, we waited another time for other pizzas to be ready to start eating, while we left the last one in the oven, in the meantime.

     Después de un tiempo en el horno, ya la primera pizza estuvo lista, esperamos otro tiempo más a que otras pizzas estuvieran listas parar comenzar a comer, mientras dejábamos la última en el horno, mientras tanto.

     It was a very pleasant lunch, although we didn't talk much, since we were all very hungry, and we dedicated ourselves only to eating, the talks came later, once we finished eating if we talked for a long time.

     Fue un almuerzo muy ameno, aunque no hablamos mucho, ya que todos teníamos mucha hambre, y nos dedicamos únicamente a comer, las charlas vinieron después, una vez que terminamos de comer si charlamos durante bastante rato.

     As a final touch, my sister-in-law surprised us with a marquise, or cold cake, as it is also known. This is made by interspersing layers of biscuit, with chocolate pudding, some people, as in this case, add a touch of some liquor, to give it a different touch.

     Como toque final, mi cuñada, nos sorprendió con una marquesa, o torta fría, como es también conocida. Esta está hecha intercalando capas de galleta, con pudin de chocolate, algunas personas, como en este caso, le agregan un toque de algún licor, para darle un toque diferente.

     We must always remember that there is no particular day to love and value our parents, Father's Day is every day, and this is something we must keep in mind all the time, since we do not know how long we will have them with us.

     Siempre debemos recordar que no hay día en concreto para querer y valorar a nuestros padres, el día del padre es todos los días, y esto es algo que hay que tenerlo presente todo el tiempo, ya que no sabemos hasta cuando los tendremos con nosotros.
