Over the last decade, the US has averaged almost $1.5 trillion in new debt every single year

The Budget deficit in the US is currently $3.1 trillion and the national debt is now over $27 trillion, but there's nothing to see here

In 2019, the budget deficit was $980 billion.

In 2020, that number increased by 3x and is currently $3.1 trillion.

In case you are wondering, that $3.1 trillion number is far and away a record:

Though, running deficits in the United States is nothing new.

In fact if you just look at that chart above you will quickly see that we tend to run a deficit just about every single year.

Due to this, the total national debt now exceeds $27 trillion.

A number that also has never been higher, by a long shot:

Since 2009, the national debt has increased by roughly $17 trillion.

That's $17 trillion in an 11 year span, or $1.5 trillion every single year on average.

But yea, there is nothing to see here.

Bitcoin doesn't owe anyone anything, bitcoin is no one's liability.
