The King is now presiding

It was a wonderful couple months for altcoins, but it looks like reality is setting back in

Bitcoin was sort of the forgotten man these past couple months.

Yes it had gone up from $9k to $12k, which is a big move, but that move was nothing compared to what much of the altcoin market was doing.

Defi craze swept the globe and coins were going up 10x, 20x, and even 30x.

Even the larger projects like LINK saw almost 10x returns.

When you look at it like that, the 35% gain by bitcoin doesn't look so awesome.

The king is back now though:

Bitcoin Dominance has skyrocketed the last few days.

Getting back to levels it hasn't been at in months.

My guess is that we are near the lows in altcoins already and probably a peak in bitcoin dominance but we shall see.

A lot probably depends on what happens in the equity markets this coming week.

hi @jondoe

I've noticed that you stopped posting within PH community :(
Have you been unhappy with traffic you've received ?

Cheers, Piotr

No, not at all. I was unhappy with you asking me for donations of voting power on a consistent basis and then somewhat shaming me if I didn't oblige or set beneficiaries, respond to every comment, etc. So I figured perhaps it is not the place for me.

Dear @jondoe

I trully am sorry if I've made such a bad impression on you.

I was unhappy with you asking me for donations of voting power on a consistent basis

My goal wasn't to ask for your donations - I only wanted to discuss ways we could both support each other (I wanted to support your content with solid upvotes and I only enquired if you would consider supporting sometimes our PH community members as well).

somewhat shaming me if I didn't oblige or set beneficiaries, respond to every comment, etc. So I figured perhaps it is not the place for me.

Making you feel this way - that wasn't ever my intention. I value your content and all I wanted is to share some information on how our community is organized, hoping (again) that we can find ways to collaborate and support each others growth on Steemit.

If I ever made you feel that way (unintentionally) then I owe you appology.

Yours, Piotr

Thank you for the kind words. And I understand what you were looking for, however, you have to understand that I have invested tens of thousands of my own dollars into STEEM and recouping as high of a ROI on my investment as I can is important to me. Perhaps we can figure something out at a future time.

I actually understand it pretty well. And I'm sure we can figure something out - solution which would allow us both to benefit. At a future time.

Yours, Piotr
