MUSTARD PASTA
MUSTARD PASTA

We are going to start preparing our pasta, I think we all know how to do it, hahaha, anyway the packaging brings the instructions.

While I was waiting for the pasta water to boil I was preparing the sauce that I will add.

We fry it with a little butter, about a tablespoon of butter.

Once the onion is cooked, we are going to add 500 ml of milk (1/4 of this milk we are going to reserve in another cup) and we are going to mix this for a few minutes, without letting it come to boil.

This is like a bechamel but done differently, we are going to add a tablespoon of wheat flour to the milk that we reserve and we are going to mix this very well until it is dissolved.

Now we add our mixture to the sauce that we are preparing in the pot, and we are adding it without stopping mixing at any time, this can be done over medium heat or medium low heat.

For this sauce I grated a little cheese and added it, to give it more flavor and change the texture of the sauce a little bit.

Finally I added mustard, the amount that you like in your recipe, and we continue mixing for a few minutes.

To finish, we add the freshly cooked pasta to the sauce and finish mixing.

And here you have it. By the way, I had these dumplings already made and I didn't want to waste them so I added them as an extra, but that's not what the recipe is about.
