Smoked chops in orange sauce

Today I will also show you another recipe with chops, yesterday I put one with onion sauce and today, it will be with orange sauce, and the difference is that, these are smoked chops.
We are going to start by adding a few tablespoons of butter to a pan, about 100 grams.

When the butter has melted add a few garlic cloves and fry so that the butter takes on the garlic flavor.

With this ready we will take the smoked chops and we will add them to our pan.

On the other hand, we are going to use oranges, 2 large or 4 small. We will cut some slices for the decoration of the plate and we will squeeze the rest of the oranges to obtain the juice, it can be between half or 1 cup of freshly squeezed natural orange juice.

So, with the chops, what we want to do is, that it looks golden brown then we are going to remove them from the pan.

We are going to use the oil that was in the pan with the butter and the juices of the chops.
We will prepare a tablespoon of cornstarch in half a glass of water and mix well.

Continuing with the pan, we add 1 tablespoon of sugar.

We are going to add dried rosemary

And now we add the mixture of water and cornstarch that we had prepared.

We are going to mix for a few minutes until we have the consistency of a sauce, the idea is to thicken the liquid.

After a couple minutes, we proceed to add the orange juice and let cook briefly.

Now is the time to add the chops

And we place some orange slices on top and let cook for 20 minutes over low heat and we cover the pan

and we are ready to serve
