Today I want to share with you about the importance of excising art in children. As a teacher of Initial education this stage of life has great importance for me, it is really wonderful to see how the little ones are acquiring new experiences for their development as a human being.
Drawing plays a fundamental role in the formation of knowledge and requires great consideration in the sense of valuing it from the beginning of the child's life, taking into account the luggage he brings from home, as well as his own daily life.
The act of drawing should be considered an essential factor in the process of language development, as well as a type of document that records the child's evolution.
When drawing, the child develops self-expression and acts affectionately with the world, giving opinions, criticizing, suggesting, through the use of colors, shapes, sizes, symbols, among others.
It is noteworthy that the teacher must offer his student the greatest possible diversification of materials, providing support, techniques and challenges that favor the growth of his student, in addition to being aware that a stimulating environment depends on these factors, allowing exploration of new knowledge.
Based on the assumption that such supports are not offered, the tendency is for the student to block their creativity, as such conditions were not offered.
The importance of valuing drawing from the beginning of a child's life is due to the need for the children's universe to be stimulated, challenged and confronted in a way that enriches the child's own experiences.
By valuing art, that is, drawing at school, the teacher will take the student to an interest in the productions he and his colleagues make, as well as in various works considered artistic at the regional, national and international level.
As a mediator of knowledge, the teacher is essential to encourage the student, either through the art path or another area of knowledge, offering the best supports, in a way that contributes to the growth and formation of the same.
