Ingredients:
- 3 eggs
- 8 tablespoons of milk
- 8 tablespoons of sugar
- 5 Bananas
- A tablespoon of vanilla
For the caramel:
- 6 tablespoons of sugar.
Preparation:
- First we will cut the bananas and add them in a bowl, add the 8 tablespoons of milk and the sugar. Then we add half a cup of water and beat it in the blender.
- Then we will add the tablespoon of vanilla and finally we will add the 3 eggs, liquefy until there is a homogeneous mixture and without mists.
- For the caramel, we will add the sugar in the tortera and put it over low heat, until the sugar melts and takes on a bronze color.
- We add the mixture in the mold that will have the caramel that we made previously as glaze.
- Finally, this type of dessert has a type of preparation similar to cheesecake, this form is known as '' Maria bath or water bath '' consists of using a larger pan and placing water halfway, then in that pan is placed the pan where we have the mixture and that will make the dessert cook in a creamy way and not burn.
We must be careful with the water, because if it dries they can add a little more, until the dessert is ready. The cooking time is 35 minutes.
This dessert is a Venezuelan favorite, the texture as such is very similar to flan and even pudding, it is a combination of those desserts ... the best of two desserts in one!
