The religious festivals of the Muslim community are Eid-ul-Fitr and the festival of the Hindu community is Jamaishthi. With these two festivals in mind, Bengali food festivals have been organized in the Indian capital New Delhi and West Bengal. The festival is organized by the Fisheries Development Corporation of the Government of West Bengal; Which will start on 16 June. It will continue till June 30.
The festival will feature a variety of national standard Bengali food and various dishes containing food items. On the day of Eid, there is Bahari Bengali food to satisfy the Bengali taste. Fish parota, four types of fish biryani, lachcha, parota, semai, fish finger and many more are notable. There will be different flavors of fish made with mango. Apart from this, there are mango-shoal, mango-hilsa pickle and mango-puls with mango juice.
