Many people have some kind of a Saturday routine. Our routine is going to the farmer's market and today was not different.
After we got our haul, we went for a walk around the city and then we had lunch in a restaurant that we won't visit anymore as I didn't feel well all afternoon. I have even found a piece of plastic in my soup! Something like that hasn't happen to me before...
Luckily, we went for a walk before I got sick and I can share it with you now 😊
We already have Christmas lights in the old town. They are not on yet but I guess in a week or two I'll be able to show them to you in their full beauty.
It was 4 degrees Celsius today, so there were not that many people around. It's a large drop in the temperature from the last week.
I have wanted to show you this building for so long. Do you know what it could be?
It's a prison! 😊 I can imagine worse places...
Let's go to the museum now. This girl is at the entrance.
And we're in! When you enter the area you will find yourself in a beautiful garden of the monastery. Well, it's not at its best right now but it's lovely in summer. There are so many herbs and it smells too good!
You can visit the area for free. It's a popular place for lunch in summer. I have also had lunch here for a few times. I had a book with me too!
There are 3 large bells placed outside of the monastery. They come from the 17th century. This is the first one.
Let's enter the garden in the middle of the monastery...
This construction was built in the 12th century. There is a church, a chapel, a museum and many other places that are not open to public.
It's a beautiful structure...
Another bell..
There are various artifacts built in the walls...
And the last bell...
None of this bells comes from this town. They were collected from the churches in this region.
And the entrance to the cafe. But we will not go there today...
Instead we will enjoy the garden...
Serenity and tranquility characterize this place. I understand why it was used for prayers in the past...
And the last view before going back home...
Yesterday I had a great activity count and let me tell you that 90 % of it happened in the kitchen. I was organizing a dinner party last night and spent a lot of time cooking. It's funny to see how many steps you get by doing something in one room.
Guests loved the food and I got beautiful flowers, so it was a succesful evening!
Thank you for visiting!
Cheers!
