Este no es una publicación común de fotografía como solía hacer, la verdad es mucho más que eso. No quise retocar casi nada, ni que se viera deslumbrante, solo quiero compartir con ustedes una experiencia muy emotiva que tuve hoy.
This is not a common photography publication as I used to do, the truth is much more than that. I didn't want to retouch almost anything, or make it look dazzling, I just want to share with you a very emotional experience I had today.
Mi madre ha estado enferma, y para mi resulta algo muy difícil con todo esto que estamos viviendo con el covid-19, ella es asmática y por ello siempre tengo que cuidarla, prevenir y en tal caso atacar cualquier enfermedad con prontitud.
My mother has been ill, and for me it is something very difficult with all this that we are living with the covid-19, she is asthmatic and therefore I always have to take care of her, prevent and in such a case attack any illness promptly.
Su medico nos pidió hacerle algunos exámenes de sangre y Rx, pensar que ella debe salir de casa es algo que nos asustaba mucho ya que tiende a ser muy delicada con los virus.
Her doctor asked us to do some blood tests and Rx, thinking that she must leave the house is something that scared us a lot since she tends to be very delicate with viruses.
Fuimos por los exámenes de sangre, ayer noche me los habían cotizado en $21, pero una señal en mi mente me alerto y fuimos al mejor laboratorio donde los mismo exámenes tenían un costo de $10 a $11, ademas de ello mi madre no tuvo necesidad de salir del auto a exponerse, yo lo hice por ella y pedí que le sacaran la sangre dentro del auto a lo que rápidamente accedieron con gusto, esa fue una señal... agradecí.
We went for the blood tests, last night they had quoted them to me at $21, but a sign in my mind alerted me and we went to the best lab where the same tests had a cost of $10 to $11, besides that my mother didn't have to get out of the car to expose herself, I did it for her and asked them to take her blood inside the car which they quickly agreed to, that was a sign... I was grateful.
Posterior a ello tuvimos que ir a una clínica para realizar los Rx, inmediatamente pensamos que nos íbamos a encontrar con muchas personas, pero la realidad fue otra, estaba completamente solo, algo más que agradecí de cierto modo ya que era menos exposición para mi madre.
After that we had to go to a clinic to perform the Rx, immediately we thought that we were going to meet many people, but the reality was different, I was completely alone, something else that I appreciated in a way because it was less exposure for my mother.
Una vez que ella paso a la sala de Rx, algo me hizo juntar las manos y bajar mi cabeza, a la vez que mis lagrimas corrían por mi rostro empañando el tapa bocas. Pedí, suplique, ore mucho, en desmedida forma ore.
Once she passed into the Rx room, something made me put my hands together and lower my head, while my tears ran down my face, fogging the lid of my mouth. I asked, begged, prayed a lot, prayed too much.
Al llegar a casa, y salir del auto para abrir el portón de estacionamiento, me encontré con una hermosa mariposa la cual jamas había visto en mi vida, y algo que me sorprendió es que tenia años sin ver una mariposa, podría decir que nunca había visto una mariposa en mi casa, inmediatamente pensé... esta es la respuesta a mis oraciones, así que tengo la confianza de que fui escuchado y que no me dejara solo, ni a mi, ni a mi familia.
When I got home, and got out of the car to open the parking gate, I found a beautiful butterfly which I had never seen in my life, and something that surprised me is that I had years without seeing a butterfly, I could say that I had never seen a butterfly in my house, I immediately thought... this is the answer to my prayers, so I have the confidence that I was heard and that it will not leave me or my family alone.
