Greetings friends.

Today I bring you a very delicious recipe that will steal our hearts, I am talking about fritters, in Venezuela they are known as "Churros", their crispy, golden exterior and their sweet flavor totally captivate us.

Ingredients:

Wheat flour (2 cups)
Water (2 cups)
Butter (2 tablespoons)
Sugar (3 tablespoons)
Cinnamon (1 teaspoon)
Salt (½ teaspoon)
Eggs (2 units)
Chocolate

Next the elaboration process.

  1. We start by adding the water, butter and salt in a pot, then we bring it to a fire.

  2. When it starts to boil, turn off the heat, then add the wheat flour, sugar, cinnamon and mix.

  3. Once the ingredients are integrated, we add 1 egg, mix and then add the other egg. Mix until you get a smooth dough without lumps.

  4. We let it rest for a few minutes, then we add the mixture to our pastry sleeve.

  5. We begin to fry on both sides until they are golden brown.

We remove the fritters and let it drain on a napkin and then we pass them through the sugar. Let cool and serve.
