The world is going through some really troubling times right now. The year 2020 has literally hit humanity on the face with a brick while at the same time pulling the rug from under our feet.

Nobody could have anticipated the series of events that have taken place since the beginning of this year. There have been wildfires, world war threats, a global pandemic, economic collapse, market crashes, locust attacks, social unrest, the Pentagon declassifying UFO videos, and more!

Humanity is on its knees, fighting multiple battles on multiple fronts. But, if history is any indication, we will emerge stronger from all of this. We always have.

This year has given us a lot to consider. It has not only been a year of misery but also a year of learning lessons and profound realizations. I, for one, have had some deeply stirring realizations during the confines of the lockdown we are currently in.

Happiness Is Everywhere

It is human nature to look for happiness in the larger things in life. For some reason, we believe that we can only be happy by achieving something big or by bringing forth a huge positive change.

However, this is a myth. A myth that we hold on to for whatever reasons. The truth is, happiness is everywhere. We are all surrounded by it but are oblivious to its existence due to the blindfold of that myth.

It is rightly said by so many people that true happiness lies in the little things in life. The laughter of a child, the cool breeze gently touching your face, the ecstatic taste of your most favorite food, the laughter and cheer with your friends & family... aren't these the moments when you are the happiest?

You don't need a billion dollars or a Lambo or be ultra famous to be happy. Sure, if these are your dreams then you should definitely go and achieve them. What I'm saying is, don't hold your happiness hostage to an event or a milestone. Live a little. Life is short. Learn to make the most out of it... in every moment.
