I've been pretty up and going each day for the last one week to get my apartment ready and habitable. To start up the journey, we needed to sink a septic/soak Away pit. Fortunately, I would say, this is happening during the rainy season and yet we had not many options than get the apartment fixed so I can move in my next month end.

This day, we had already laid the base concrete/foundation for the pit and raised a few courses of block work but without pillars. The rain came unexpected and we never saw it a very heavy one but it turned out that way. Looking at the funds already sunk in and the time, I had to enter the rain to create a way for the flood to flow an alternate way to the pit but it was quite difficult.

After about Three hours of heavy shower, the pit was a quarter depth full with water and mud as shown in the banner picture and the only way our was to get the water out as we couldn't afford to wait for another downpour.

We had to scoop the water and mud out with bowls and buckets and the pit is now safe for construction work to continue. I just wish it doesn't rain again for the next few days for the work to move further.

That really has been an Aweful experience but I never give up succeeding.
