Historic center of Ciudad Bolivar.
Angostura Congress House.
Venezuela my country, is very rich in history, cradle of heroes, Ciudad Bolivar is one of those cities with stories too, many developed in the Casco Historico, is in the central part of it, with houses that still keep their colonial style, some have been restored, others not.
The following pictures are taken in 2017, in several places or streets of the Historical Center, during one morning, the bells of the Metropolitan Cathedral were heard.
Next to it is the Plaza Bolívar, with the statue of the Liberator Simón Bolívar, where there was a cold breeze because it was very close to the Orinoco River, an emblematic river, our great father river.
Plaza Bolívar, with the statue of the Liberator.
Being in the historical center and not taking pictures is something difficult to stop doing, because it is like not belonging to this city. To listen to part of its history once and many times, is not boring, it makes us feel proud of our city.
Metropolitan Cathedral of Ciudad Bolivar.
There is also a place from where we can see the Angostura Bridge and the Orinoco River, its streets are made of stone, there are schools, government institutions, art schools, shops, which in each one keep part of the history.
There is a special place that is the Casa Congreso de Angostura, where the Father of the Country, read his famous Speech of Angostura.
View of Angostura Bridge and Orinoco River.
And this is the end of my walk through the historical center of my city, the photos are my own, taken with the Panasonic LS80 LUMIX 8.1 megapixel camera
