Life with a drinker isn't different from life with a heavy smoker. It might look great and charming if you first met but soon it starts to be annoying. That one glass of beer turns out to be 24 bottles of beer. One cigarette only means at least six packages a day. The lover sweats and stinks. His breath does and so does the skin. It's true what they say. Kissing a smoker is like licking an ashtray. By the way ashes are unhealthy and you will find it everywhere just like cigarette butts (better do not take plants in your home) and empty beer bottles. If you don't clean up every few minutes, do not ventilate, within a short time, people start avoiding your house. Your prince charming scares them away or they had it with the nonsense talk and bragging. No, need to worry. A drunk will always find a new company. Plenty of drunks love to visit you if you provide them with their needs. Beer and cigarettes to start with.
Trust me it doesn't take years before you start disliking your "true love" unless you are a heavy drinker and smoker yourself. Once you see the true lover you start smelling the true person you supported as well. You no longer like to be kissed, touched, or hear that voice you loved to hear whispering in your ear. You know there are only two options left: you start drinking yourself or... disappear.
