Hello everyone! Yesterday I pulled my Zeendoodle colouring book out after a long time and thought of painting a page. The plan was actually to watch a new movie called Ninnila Ninnila which is a Telugu movie. I thought maybe I could multitask and paint while I watch the movie, so I did.
It looks like I painted less but wow, it was time consuming to even cover a small section because the drawings in my colouring book are detailed and it took almost an hour for me to paint this. Maybe because I was also watching a movie so I didn't paint with complete concentration but I think it is due to the small details and sections.
This is the palette I used. It is the SemiArt watercolour palette. I painted using a waterbrush so I could paint while sitting on the sofa and watching television as I didn't need any water containers.
This is the page I wanted to paint. Look how detailed the drawing is!
I don't know why I mixed many colours. I just wanted to have fun so I didn't stick to painting it with rules. I used yellow, orange and different types of pinks here.
Here I used multiple shades of purples, oranges and greens. I wanted to use all the colours if possible :D
It was blue's turn so I used different shades of blues. I also used red and purple.
I tried to create a gradient effect for the outermost petals here.
I dedicated this round section to different types of greens ranging from the cool green to warm green.
I wanted a pool of rainbow here so I added the colours of rainbow, except for the pink of course but I included pink as well as I like pink.
This is an adjacent view of the same colouring. That's all I could paint yesterday. By the time I was done with this, it was 7pm so I wanted to take a shower and get to my night routine =)
Here's a picture of my colouring book, the watercolour palette and the waterbrush that I used. The section I covered looks so small here! I enjoyed the process though.
Thank you for dropping by and see you in my next post! Have a great day ahead ♥
