Greetings steemians and food lovers!
It's a blessed Sunday, hoping everything goes well.
Sharing you today the meal I prepared for myself and to my family.
At early at 4:40 in the morning, I woke up already, this is really my usual time of waking up every Sunday since it is our mass schedule.
After doing all the routine every morning, I prepared our morning meal.
For our breakfast, I prepared spaghetti and milk, where my kids really like eating spaghetti. That is why I have some stocked ingredients at home. Spaghetti also contains energy and carbohydrates that is why also I prepared this once a week, while drinking milk is our morning habit which is a rich source of protein which is good for our bones.
For our lunch, I bought crabs and eel fish from a street vendor near here. We Filipinos, love to eat rice with different viands. For today's lunch, my husband cooked for us, crabs which is simply mixed with a little amount of water and salt. And a soup from an eel fish mixed with my onions, garlic, tomatoes and hot chili.
We don't usually eat snacks in the morning, but this afternoon, my daughter and I prepared a "suman" which is commonly known here. This ground corn/rice mixed with coconut milk and sugar. With just three ingredients, you will have this tasty snack.
For our dinner, it's sweet and sour pork with rice and banana. I bought pork from my cousin whose small business is selling pork every weekend. We always eat dinner at around 5:30 to 6:00 in the evening so when we go to sleep we feel a lighter stomach.
