Hello friends, how are you doing today, hope you are having a good time?. As people always say"A daughter learns alot from the mother",I want to write about one of the best soup I learnt from my mum i.e okro soup with añara leaf instead of pumpkin leaf 😋😋.
Am going to write down the recipe first, then the method and steps i used while cooking. They recipes and ingredients include
1)okro.
2)añara leaf.
3)meat, stock fish, crefish and dry fish.
4)salt, chillies, fresh pepper and onion.5) Maggi (optional)
6)red oil
After getting all these items ready, I washed my pot and kept it aside, wash my meat, put it inside the pot, boil hot water and used the hot water to wash my stock fish, put it inside the pot add some salt, a little chopped onion and a cube of Maggi. I steamed them all for some minutes, as I was steaming them I cut my añara leaf into pieces though not with knife but I used hand to pieces them.
After steaming them, I grinded my crefish, put it inside it, add my sliced onions and turn it together.. after 10 minutes, I washed my añara leaf and put it inside the food, turn it together, I left it just for two minutes so that the añara leaf will not change it's colour....then I brought it down the fire.
My okro soup 😋😋.
After cooking I ate to my satisfaction, after some minutes I diluted the food with ripped paw paw fruit.
